“Cler Achel” translates to “I Spent the Day”. It is composed by Ibrahim Ag Alhabib.

"It’s a time which separates the beloved from those they love
And when you think of them, painful obsessive thoughts are all that come."

This song is a lament of the struggles of the Tuareg people and the resulting separation from loved ones. This is in support of Tinariwen and the Tuareg people's struggle for a peaceful autonomous state in Northern Africa.
